Covering ten years of musical production, the collection Melodies in Love is attractive register of Austrian composer Gerhard Heinz's work as well as a catalog of the best of what was made in popular music (from 60´s pop to the 70´s disco).

Employing the musical trends of each period the edition displays a wide range of captivating themes including sexy swings, female whispers, disco numbers and even passionate ballads that reveal Heinz as a devoted craftsman of the erotic genre (from romantic to lascivious) always involved in a captivating sound sensuality. From Shameless (1969) to Melodies in Love (1978) the collection brings a whole production that almost remained forgotten on the shelf of some studio, but fortunately was rescued in a series dedicated to the genre by the German label Diggler. Just as a mention, can be highlighted as great moments, the ethereal singing (Jane Birkin-like) of Dampfnudeln (1973), the sighs of Bangkok at Night (1976), bossa nova in Smooth Voice (1971), the above perfection romanticism of All Said and Done (1978), the marginal atmosphere of I Need It (1979) and the gentle ballad title, Melodies in Love (1978 ).
