Active in the progressive rock market the group Libra had more prominence (outside their home market) because of that soundtrack to a horror movie than their own albums.

Libra´s trajectory leads to a comparison with the Goblin, because the cinema genre and presence of Walter Martino, drummer of early Goblin formation. But the comparison done go beyond. With its sound plenty inventive, the group has a great soundtrack for the horror Shock (1977) directed by Mario Bava, as honorable item on their curriculum. Stands out immediately on soundtrack the main theme with its strong progressive feel (complex rhythmic and synthesizer solos), and vocal choral. But if Goblin was a classic of its time, group Libra goes further with a sound ahead of its time. The vocal sampling on Transfert IV, for example, anticipate what would be done only years later, with the samplers. Other tracks (like L'Incubo) impress by the dispersion of sound on blocks and synthetic notes. Effects that disorient the hearing in the stereo environment. More traditional moments give musical variety to the mix, as the Thema Di Marco, with its repetitive lines "musical box like" and the atmospheric Il Fantasma Suona Il Piano (solo piano and gothic atmosphere). Sufficiently original, Shock stood in the history of the horror soundtracks as a anthological work.
