The first impression of The Super Cops is surprised by the high astral climate and mood, something unexpected in a work of Jerry Fielding. An extra touch his impressive work.

Directed by Gordon Parks after the success of Shaft, the film Super Cops is a police adventure in comedy mood, the musical score follows the models of its time with a lot of swing and emphasis on action (rhythms and metals). The score displays a series of acid-jazz vignettes full of dynamism and vitality. It is certainly the most humorous work of the composer. Lalo Schifrin and Dave Grusin could have composed the track, just listen to The Hip Strip or the main theme to relate the pattern of police adventure of the 70s. The issue also features the jazzy track Oliver Nelson for the movie ZigZag (1974) as well themes of the TV series The Hawkins and outtakes of The Outfit. To listen to with replay on.
